Yannick Mayaud wins third prize at State Opera Varna's second international competition for conductors "Maestro Borislav Ivanov"

On the 1st November 2025, Yannick Mayaud was awarded third prize in the "Maestro Borislav Ivanov" international competition for young conductors held by the State Opera Varna, Bulgaria after 3 rounds and a final concert of symphonic and operatic repertoire.

Yannick's prize includes a performance with the Chamber Orchestra Dobrich in Bulgaria in the 2025-2026 season.
