Advocate for new music and reaching broader audiences

Yannick Mayaud is a prize-winning conductor with a particular interest in new composition. He is currently conductor of Ensemble Modern's academy (IEMA) and directs Orchestra in the Shape of a Pear, a flexible ensemble specialising in new music and the repertoire of the late 20th century.
